Quantifiers
Quantifiers adalah adjektiva atau frase adjektiva yang digunakan untuk memberikan perkiraan terhadap kuantitas atau banyaknya suatu hal atau benda.
Adjektiva atau frase adjektiva yang dipakai sebagai quantifiers adalah: much, many, a few, few, a little, little, some, any, no, more, most, fewer, fewest, less, least, enough, etc.
Contoh quantifiers dalam kalimat:
- I don’t have much time.
- It seems there are not very many of them left in the sea.
- Few of the volunteers had military experience.
- Pour a little of the sauce over the chicken.
- I’ll make some coffee.
- You don't know any of my friends.
- Employees may face increasing pressure to take on more of their own medical costs in - retirement.
- The fewest people live there now.
- Give that dog the least opportunity and it will bite you.
- Nick had heard enough of this.
